Everything you need to know about participating.

These sessions are organized by the Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC) in partnership with local health plans, with facilitation support from Presidio Public Affairs. HASC is a nonprofit that represents hospitals and health systems across Southern California.
We want to hear directly from people who have Medi-Cal coverage about what's working, what challenges they're facing, and how access to healthcare can be improved for individuals and families in their community.
Your responses will be compiled into a summary of themes and recommendations, and no names or identifying details will be included. The findings will be shared with HASC member hospitals and health system leaders to help shape future healthcare access and quality improvement efforts across Southern California.
Each session is a facilitated virtual group discussion held on Zoom. There are no in-person sessions. You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access and a working camera and microphone to participate. Groups are small (approximately 10–12 participants), a professional facilitator guides the conversation, and every participant is expected to actively contribute. Think of it as a roundtable conversation where your voice matters.

No preparation is required. There are no right or wrong answers. We simply want to hear about your personal experiences with healthcare and coverage.
Because all sessions are virtual only, you will need: a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, plus a working camera and microphone (built-in or external). We use Zoom. If you haven't used it before, you can download the free app at zoom.us/download.
Please contact Felicia Fierro at [email protected] as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else.
Participating in this session will not affect your Medi-Cal coverage in any way.
